LPHS Chamber Music Success!

Natasha Manowitz —

LPHS students performed confidently in the Regional Chamber Music Contest, and many groups came away with awards.

Well done to all students involved for their hard work over the past couple of months.

Read on to hear about the chamber music lunchtime concert, one week prior to the contest, and the contest itself.

Lunchtime concert

Thank you to James Hurley for his work organising this lunchtime concert. Staff and students were treated to a variety of chamber music groups as they performed excerpts or all of their items, in preparation for the upcoming contest. This was held in the performance room on a Friday lunchtime, and the room was absolutely filled with supportive students and staff. We look forward to doing more concerts like this in the future. See -photos below from this event.
