We celebrated Race Unity in March.
Over 80 students were involved in a colorful diverse assembly. Our kapa haka group performed a beautiful waiata and our Year 9 Dance class did a Bollywood dance.
We had students representing Maori and Pakeha New Zealanders as well as students from a wide variety of countries including the Pacific Islands, Japan, China, Germany, South Korea, Nepal, Russia, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Guyana, Vietnam, The Philippines, Switzerland, Canada, Scotland, England, America, Italy, Zimbabwe, Jordan, Papua New Guinea, Austria, Norway, Israel and France.
The assembly was hosted by Head Girl and Boy, Bella Rennie and Lucan Willis and International Prefects Leven Wu and Aiko Otono.
