This year our Tennis activities ranged from taking part in coaching sessions that Tennis Otago offered to our beginners, to participating in a competition.

The coaching is offered by experienced Tennis players and gives our beginners a chance to develop the skills they need to have to play rallies and have fun with this sport. In that way, players can think about joining the competition in Term 1 of next year.

Our five teams did well and also improved their serves, volleys and consistency in their play. The goal is now to take part in inter school competitions next year for those players who want to showcase their abilities.

A big thank you to Lucas Wilde and Hector Howard for looking after the teams. It is also really cool to see how flexible team players were especially in Term 4 when incomplete teams had to quickly find players - thanks to everyone for filling in when needed.
