Blues Awards 2016

Mark Anderson —

Outstanding sporting, cultural, community service and academic performances were celebrated at our Blues Assembly in September.

Rebecca Twemlow, director of Dunedin's innovative Firebrand Agency which does web design, graphic design and marketing was our guest speaker.  Rebecca is an ex-Logan Park student and gave a visual and engaging speech suggesting everyone needs to be careful about their own personal "brand" and what they post in social media as it leaves a permanent digital footprint.   She also encouraged students to celebrate their own achievements and to feel proud about their accomplishments and to look for opportunities to help others achieve.   Blues Award winners and their families then joined teachers and coaches for a celebratory luncheon in the library.
