Junior Sports Week 22nd November - 26th November

Frankie Vella —

A fantastic week was had by our students.

Sports we competed in were:

Monday - Handball. Our team placed 3rd. Dodgeball - two teams attended and we were 1st and 3rd. The boys had a great time playing Dodgeball all day.

Tuesday - 3x3 Basketball. The games for our top junior boys team were tough and competitive. The boys were fantastic making the final and were 2nd to a strong Kings team. Logan Park Girls came 3rd which was again was a great achievement. Mixed Dodgeball - we had one team attending and we made the final losing to Roxburgh. After two days of Dodgeball success Logan Park was being referred to as the Dodgeball school.

Wednesday - Volleyball for our top Junior boys team and our 9A girls team. The boys won overall. Petanque - a wonderful day had by all. Most trying petanque for the first time.

Thursday - Renegade Hockey - it was a beautiful day. Both teams played well only losing one game in their respective divisions.

Friday - A big day of sport. Premier volleyball - the girls played well but it was a tough day up against the best girls schools in Dunedin. The team has developed significantly this year and are not out of place in the Premier Junior league.

Indoor Cricket - Logan Park boys got into the final and won. They had a great day.

8 Ball Pool - a new sport for all our students. Ben Doig made the final. Only losing narrowly in an intense game.

Huge thanks to staff and community coaches, they make this event possible.
