The Girls Hockey team had a successful season. They were placed third in the local Secondary competition and 2nd in the Co-ed Winter Sports Tournament.
The team was a mixture of experienced and new players. The Locker girls, Izzie and Mary were the backbone of the team. Izzie gained the top Senior Girls Hockey Award and Mary received the Best Junior Player. Emily Hutton and Nerise Barnes, both Yr 9 grew immensely as players but sadly due to injury Anna Denys, Yr 9 and a skilled hockey player missed much of the season due to injury. Emily received the Most Promising Junior Player Award. We farewell three key players from the team, Captain Fantastic Frances Barnett, our wonderful Goalie Meran Campbell-Hood and Caretaker of Team Morale Jivy Macbeth. They will be missed. We look forward to building on the development we made in 2015. Huge thank you to Anna Forester our coach.
