Congratulations to Kate Will-Tofia and Maria Hessell, our Pacific Island Students Recognition Award winners for 2020.

This annual award given by the Otago Polytechnic recognises Pacific Island students who have excelled in their academic and extracurricular pursuits. 

Kate has won this award twice previously, as an exceptional student in Years 9 and 10. This year, she is recognised for the first time as a senior student as she has continued to meet the high standards she has set herself since she began at Logan Park. 

Maria was a most deserving winner of the Junior award, having completed an outstanding year in Year 9. 

We have greatly appreciated the contribution of both students to the school and look forward to sharing their continued pursuit of excellence in future years.
