A group of five Thai students spent April/May studying at Logan Park High School. The students were matched with Kiwi buddies who showed them around the school and helped them learn about the New Zealand culture. The Thai students went to the same classes as their Kiwi buddies.

The short-stay Thai students are brought here each year by Masy Ruayruen, who was an international student at Logan Park from 1982 to 1983. Masy’s son is currently studying at Logan Park and her daughter has also studied here.

Many of Masy’s short-stay students have come back for longer periods of study, including two who studied full time at Logan Park were here until the end of the year.
