We have had another busy year in Writers' Group. Held every Monday lunchtime and open to all who wish to come, Writers' Group can often get very loud! We enter competitions, share our writing, try out writing games and activities and manage to eat our lunch as well.

This year we took some of our junior students to the Dunedin Public Library’s Speed Date an Author  event. We all found the morning very informative and very helpful.  The Logan Park High School writing competitions across the Junior and Senior School received a high number of entries in all categories.  As usual the standard of writing was very high. The winners were judged by a panel of four English teachers. This year we made Formal Writing a category available for students to enter. As teachers, we enjoyed reading the range of very thought provoking opinion pieces for this new category. All in all another very productive year!
