All of our Winter Sports are going well.

In Badminton, Jorja Hutton U16 continues to impress. Her Otago team came second overall in her division at the Nationals in July. In the Otago Champs, Jorja won the Plate Final and the Mixed Doubles Final.  And along with Cathy Zeng who is also an Otago representative player, they won the girls doubles. Jorja also competed in the Canterbury Champs and placed second in the Doubles. Read Paul Fielding's report on Badminton elsewhere in this Park Press.

In Hockey, we came third in the Second Division and we were second in the Junior Division winning all games until the final game.

Basketball, Hockey and Football teams are preparing for the South Island Secondary Schools Winter Tournament at the end of August.  Congratulations to Rebecca Dalphin who is an Otago U14 Football rep. 

Excitement is building for the Gold Coast Australia Kingaroy High School sports exchange during the September holidays where we will play our Australian cousins in a number of codes.

Our Student Sports Council is continuing to organise lunchtime House events with Futsal featuring this month.   Full seasonal sports write ups on all codes and events will feature in our Year Book.
