Congratulations to Marnie Brosnahan who placed second in the Polson Higgs / Young Farmers Innovation Competition

The competition was held at the end of Term 3 and Marnie competed against adults on the topic 'Can farming deliver a sustainable future for NZ?'

She placed second, winning $500 and she spoke persuasively about many of the innovative and sustainable things New Zealand farmers are already doing. She also challenged some of the myths and media representations of farming and made the case that farming is sustainable and has a future.
