Thanks to two of our senior Kapa Haka leaders, Tui Kaitai-Martin and Abigail Real.

They have been helping tutor kapa haka to 6 year olds at George Street School for 10 weeks during Term 2.

The George Street School children performed for whanau on Matariki (Maori New Year). They performed a haka, a waiata and rakau.

Tui and Abi commented on how fast the children were able to learn everything and that "whilst they didn’t always get their lefts and rights, they were amazing performers."
