This season the LPHS colts hockey team had a great run, we were able to win many of our games but we struggled against teams with people that were way older and bigger than ourselves. However there would always be a great team atmosphere and a lot of lively spirit within the team no matter what the results.

The skill level of the team improved immensely throughout the season with everyone improving in their own personal skills and the ability to work as a collaborative group.This was helped by most players turning up to the dreaded early morning practices.

We managed to get 6th place overall in our competition which is great for such a young team that has been together for only one year. I'm sure that the whole team is keen to return next year with more refined skills and see if we can do better in 2021, who knows we might even win. Nevertheless it was great fun to play for and with the team and I hope the others enjoyed it as much as I did.
