Finally Logan Park has a water polo team, after four years of waiting I’m finally able to thrash Otago Boys.

For the first time in what must be about ten years Logan Park formed a Water Polo team and set out to etch our name into the pages of water polo history. Only the noblest and bravest joined our team as we set off with our heroic, dashing and may I say stunningly good looking captain at the helm (despite the insistence on wearing speedos). Thanks to having Mr Spronken as a coach, the team worked like a well-oiled machine and many games were won. The team was made up of mainly junior students and played in the mixed B grade. The games were a mixture in terms of standard, some hard and some easier, however, we held our own and won more games than we lost. We all look forward to Term Four, when with some recruiting the numbers should increase. The team was made up of Connor Seddon (Captain), Tait Familton, Abby Spronken, Ben Clayton, Desiree Heinze-Farrington, Siobahn Quinn, Clair Caird, Katalina Ahokovi.
