Geography Field Trip to Mt Cook
The Year 11 Geography class along with Mr Dixon and Mrs Summerfield had a fantastic trip to Mt Cook in May.
We spent time learning about hydro-electric power on our way up the Waitaki Valley and enjoyed seeing, in the real world, the landforms we had studied in class. Aoraki showed itself on day 2 when we were on the Tasman glacier lake and stayed free of clouds for a stunning walk up the Hooker Valley track. May the weather always be like this for future trips!!!
