We are fortunate to have a wonderful team of staff at Logan Park who are committed to our students and enjoy seeing their successes.

During the year we also welcomed Deirdre Cooper relieving in Social Studies and Erin Winder relieving in Dance / PE.

Farewells

Paul Byers – Teacher Aide from Learning Support

David Jenkins – technology teacher

And we also farewelled 4 very long serving staff who are moving on to new adventures.

Andy Parsons - 17 years Head of Technology

Sandra Whipp - 22 years teaching Digital Technologies & Assistant Head of technology

John Dixon - 23 years teaching Geography, Social studies, Maths

& John Dodd – who has had an over 30 year association with Logan Park. He’s been Head of Music and will be farewelled officially at the beginning of 2023.

All 4 have given decades of inspirational service and made a huge contribution to our school.

Collectively they have positively impacted many thousands of young Logan Parkers' lives. As well as being passionate in their own subject areas, they have generously given a lot of time and energy in all the extra curricular areas necessary for a great school - from camps, sailing, field trips, music, sports, organising prizegivings etc and providing opportunities for many.

They are much loved and respected members of our Logan park whanau and we will miss them.

Thank you from all of us.

We also welcomed a number of new babies to our whanau.

Arnika Hazelwood and family welcomed baby Mila Joy Hazelwood-Whitburn in January. Megan Kolpannen and whanau welcomed Adelina Jana in August and Nick Biggin and his family welcomed little Keira Adèle in September.
