The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the school. It is entrusted to work on behalf of all stakeholders and is accountable for the school’s performance. 

It emphasises strategic leadership, sets the vision for the school, and ensures that it complies with legal and policy requirements. Policies are at a governance level and outline clear delegations to the Principal. On the Board there is a Staff Representative, being Mr Fielding this year, a Student Representative, being me as well as the Principal, the Board Chair as well as multiple Parent Representatives. We have a BoT meeting approximately every fortnight.

As the Student Representative on the Board, I am the voice of the students regarding decisions that will affect us. This is an important role, as students’ opinions need to be heard by the Board so that students are happy with the decisions being made. Therefore, if you have any concerns or ideas and think that the Board of Trustees could do something about it, you should come and speak to me about, I am always more than happy to hear them and discuss them at the next Board meeting!
