Our final set of league games in Term 4 have seen our teams continue to progress and improve in all areas. With senior players supporting some junior teams with coaching, the future looks very good for this sport and for the school.

At the time of writing this article, the junior teams are battling it out and our LPHS 1 boys team are currently in 1st place. Regardless of the final outcome, like our football teams, the future of our teams in this sport looks very good,

Our senior teams have now completed their 6 weeks of league games. Every team has played extremely well and the evidence shows that we are a real force in futsal. Our Senior Boys 2 team played off for 3rd/4th place and although they played with a great and spirited attitude, illness saw them struggle to field a full team and they eventually came 4th for the season. Our senior girls B team played KVC, a team who had not lost a game all season. However, the girls took the game to KVC and kept the pressure up. This paid off handsomely and the team won their division in style.

The Senior A girls, without three of the original players and their talisman Captain took on OGHS 1st and team who had beaten them at the start of the season. LPHS were one nil up within the first 5min and looking for a major upset. OGHS having moved down a division due to a lack of teams in the 1st division however proved to be a little too strong and we finished 2nd in the league, a great result considering losing nearly half the team. The senior Boys A team took on OBHS. LPHS had not lost a game all season but as the game between the girls and KVC showed, anything is possible in the finals. And this proved true here with the team going down one nil early in the game. The OBHS goalkeeper pulling off some great saves. However, the boys kept at it and showed great determination and skill to take the lead and win their division 2-1.

Overall, a great season for the senior teams.
