In June Sasha Barnes-Gardner had the opportunity to participate in a three-day cake decorating workshop.

Sasha joined the Bachelor of Culinary Arts ākonga, as part of their cake decorating elective. 

The workshop was run by Clare Pennell from Cakes of Wanaka who is an expert in her field. 

In the workshop Sasha learned how to build and decorate 1-2 tier cakes and developed skills for a range of different styles.
