This year’s Outdoor Music Concert at Youth Week was a fantastic success! The Outdoor Music Concert is part of Youth Week at the end of Term 3.

This year we had a wide range of groups performing: Carmina, Do Speak Louder, Caitlin Black, Melicen and Matthew, Solid Merit, The Giraffters, and Standup Chameleon. The quality of performance was high, and students were “blown away by the talent” of their peers.

The Outdoor Music Concert was performed to students and teachers from Logan Park and was thoroughly enjoyed. We were also joined by students from Rosehill College in Auckland, who performed to us at a concert in the auditorium later in the day.

Youth Week, and the Outdoor Music Concert on the Friday help build a sense of community throughout the school and make our school unique. The concert was fantastic, and it was great to see so many people dancing at the end, enjoying the music of the Logan Park music students.

This concert could not have been possible without students organising it: Kayli Taylor, Annabelle Johnston and Tyler Proctor. A massive thank you to Bella Rennie and Annabelle Johnston for MC-ing, and another thank you to the performers for their time, and effort. The sound system was provided by Strawberry Sound- we would again like to thank them for their time and energy!
