On Friday the 28th of February over 50 music students from all levels departed in order to spend the weekend at Music Camp out at Tirohanga.

Students from the LPHS choir, jazz band and orchestra enjoyed rehearsing, composing, socialising and jamming with friends.

Many new groups and combinations were formed on camp and performed at the final night concert.

Students, parents and teachers all agreed that the camp was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed the chance to practise and learn new things.  Musicians improved significantly over the weekend and the concert showcased some of our incredibly diverse musical talent.
