On Friday 22 February this year we hosted David Hill one of New Zealand's most renowned author of novels for children and young adults.

Students filled the auditorium and were informed and entertained by David as he gave an insight into life as a writer and related how he gleaned ideas for stories from what was happening around him. He also held a workshop for Writers' Group students to encourage young writers and help with technique.
