Football has had a great year at Logan Park.
First Xl football
The first XI football team had a great season. A mixture of experienced players complimented an emerging group of developing players. Silas WynLaegan wore the gloves while Ben Dubyk led from the back along with Cullum Rodgers, Reuben Campbell and Sam Yeardley holding the fort. Through the middle Ben Major, Joe Araya, Lichen Sorrel, Jesse McKersey, Ziggi Katai-Martin, Luqman Ahsan played the ball with grace and finesse through to the strikers Owen Threlfall, Shae Moore and Bailey Owens, who put the finishing touches on the sublime build up. The final game of the season came down to penalties after a hard fought game that finished 6 all and after about 20 shots each, in the spirit of sportsmanship a handshake agreed on a draw. This epitomised the season and spirit of this team.
