Congrats to Kate Denys, Erica Stedman, Jaren Roy and Shania Quinn for making Otago Rep teams for Basketball this year.

Jaren is in the Otago U17A Boys team, and all three girls are in the Otago U17B Girls team.

Jaren was also selected for the New Zealand Under 16 Development team. Jaren travelled to New South Wales, Australia in January with the NZ team and also captured the interest of an Australian Rules Football club.  

Jaren hopes to follow in the footsteps of Mark Dickel, his mentor and coach. Dickel attended Logan Park in the 1990s and played for New Zealand and won a scholarship to play in the United States. He is the player coach for the Otago Nuggets and has enjoyed a long professional career, playing in some top leagues.  

Ms Calnan is very proud of all four students achieving representative status.
