Early in Term 4 the Senior Dance Class welcomed Catherine Schroder from Dancers Anonymous for the week.

Catherine is an experienced teacher of Afrofusion and shared not only choreography, but also the culture behind the choreography with the students. She spent three days working with the dancers to create a piece to open Let’s Dance (our annual dance showcase) this year.

The vast majority of Senior Dance students stated that this was their favourite dance of the year, and would be excited to work with her again.  Thank you Catherine for sharing your aroha, mahi and passion for kanikani and the culture of Afrofusion Dance.
