This year’s junior boys took a big step up and entered the premier division. 

At times the boys struggled, playing teams with large numbers of representative players. However, holding their heads high they found good internal motivation to bounce back from double figure losses to come back and challenge, and at times win or draw games. 

Stand outs in the team were: the top goal scorer Shae Moore, the rock solid trio of Jospeh Araya, Matthew Hendricks, and Matai Bowen in defence, the scintillating runs of Reuben Campbell up the wing and the dominant presence of Samuel Yeardley who controlled flow in the mid field. 

Out of the 10 games we played we lost 8 and won 2. 

Thank you to all the parents for their efforts during the year for both preparing the players and the support they provided on the side-line. 

All the best to those Year 10’s going into senior football next year and those Year 9’s moving into the senior role for the junior team. Well done to all involved.
