The Year 11 PE class went rock climbing at Long Beach, as a part of the Physical Education programme. 

Students completed achievement standard 1.7 "Demonstrate responsible behaviour in outdoor activities."   The students are required to demonstrate safety understanding and then reflect on the effects of responsible behaviour on group success. These tasks are targeted at developing emotional intelligence in our students.
