Winning Shakespeare Costume Design
Congratulations to Bruno Willis who is a national finalist for his Shakespearean costume design.
Bruno Willis is an official finalist in the Sheila Winn New Zealand costume design competition. He has been invited to Wellington for the official announcement in June. His design will be made by the costume department at Toi Whakkari and will be displayed as part of the 400 years of Shakespeare celebrations at the Globe London. Four costume designs were selected from hundreds of applicants throughout New Zealand.
A talented Art and Drama student, Bruno designed and made the costume for his character Oberon in his extract of A Midsummer Night's Dream performed in Term One. He also made the costume for Titania in the same extract.
