The 2018 Basketball Season saw 6 teams entered across the age grades. Teams were entered in Junior, Senior, Development and Social grades.
The Junior Boys ably coached by senior players Jo Dewhirst and Finn Lillis played their hearts out throughout the season and some real potential was showing in the second half of the season.
The Junior Girls went close so many times but had to wait till the final game to celebrate their first win.
The Senior Girls development team were also close on many occasions and had several good wins they also completely out played some teams including a 90 point win over one team.
The Senior Boys Social team had a great season as well, coached by Craig Dubyk who bought basketball knowledge and structure to their game, saw the team going from a winless season last year to winning their grade!
The Senior Girls team coached by Emma Cropp had a great start to the season but also had some tough games in the middle they stepped up towards the end and finished well.
The experienced Senior Boys team coached by Jase Frost for several years now played a great season to finish top of the B grade.
