Senior Prizegiving by Janine Hills

Senior Prizegiving

On Wednesday November 1st we celebrated our Senior Prizegiving in the gym.

Having outgrown the auditorium our prizegiving was held in our packed out gymnasium. Family, friends, teachers and students all gathered together to celebrate our best and brightest students and our leaving Year 13 class.

Well done to all our prize-winners and congratulations on your hard work and achievement. Good luck for the final NCEA exams.

Congratulations to David Zeng who was our 2023 Dux and Hope Huang, the Proxime Accessit.

We congratulated our 2024 School Prefects who are Grace Fagerlund and Alexander Brown with Quinn Wilson and Makayla Houpapa our Deputies.

We also appreciated the great musical acts that moved us throughout the night.

This year we introduced a new updated house shield which was named The Kristan Mouat Shield in honour of our dearly missed Co-Principal. She had often stated how much she loved the House and Group system, where students of all levels interact and get to know each other throughout their time at LPHS.

Congratulations to all prize-winners. They are listed below:
