Athletics - Otago Secondary School Championships
Logan Park was represented by 17 students at the Otago Secondary School Athletics championships in mid March.
It was perfect conditions which resulted in some great times.
Adam and Amelio Kaloga placed 2nd and 3rd in the 200m. Amelio was 3rd in the 100m. Both boys were in the U16 relay team, alongside Matai Franzbowden and Harris Wilkinson who ran a fabulous race to place 2nd. Fynn Jackson competing in the Snr boys 1500 came 3rd. The boys all qualified to represent Logan Park at the South Island Athletics Champs held at the end of March.
Adam and Amelio attended and achieved top 6 placings in their events.
Our U14 boys rely team of Keanu Topping, Taman Mladenov, Shay Sculpher and Jasper Phillipson placed third in a strong performance. Luka Templeton made the finals in the sprints at her first Otago Champs.
