Climate protest in the Octagon
Quite a few Logan Park students attended the climate action awareness protest in the Octagon on Friday the 3rd of March and expressed their worry about too many organisations as well as individuals not changing fast enough to make a difference to our warming planet.
The protesters assembled in the Octagon at 3pm and listened to a variety of speakers voicing their concerns. There were definitely less young people there than in previous marches and one LPHS student commented on the fact that there had not been enough publicity. Let’s make sure that we are more next time and have a speaker on behalf of our student body as well.
