Celebrating Fabric Technology 2018
Roslyn McLean completed her outcome for Level 1 Fabric Technology in September.
She developed a garment suitable for winter as this was the brief she was given. Roslyn chose to recycle and repurpose a woollen blanket, and created an ethical garment. She modified a 1960’s commercial dress pattern as part of her assessment task on pattern adaptations. Her jacket is fully lined, has bias binding hem finishes, asymmetrical button loop closure and a mandarin collar.
