Year 10 Reading Challenge

In Term 3 all Year Ten English classes have been actively involved in the Year 10 Reading Challenge.

Over the course of seven weeks, students have made a concerted effort to plough through the library shelves, as well as become curious about the types of reading they may not yet have embarked upon.

As part of their English classes, students have set themselves reading goals, which have included: the number of books they would like to read, the types of genre they would like to explore, and the range of text they would like to share. For each class three major prizes will be allocated thanks to the generosity of the Gaffney family, who have a keen interest in Logan Park’s reading culture. A University Book Shop voucher with be allocated to the Top Reader, the Most Varied Reader, and the reader with the Best Reading Response from each class.

Results of the Challenge will be in the next Park Press! Many thanks again to the Gaffney family, for their donation and attention to the Reading Challenge.
