This year we had a girl's rugby team that competed in the under-15 Development Grade.

We combined with Bayfield and Trinity and the girls had a great season. We had good wins against Queens and OGHS and some tough losses against a good St Hildas and South Otago side. Due to some cancellations because of weather we didn't get to finish the season and play all the games we were meant to but the girls learnt a lot and they all became really close as a team.

We also had Lily-May Thomson, Micheala Finch and Abby Finch make the Otago Under 16 Girls Rugby team, big congratulations to them. 

The girls also competed in the Highlanders 10's Competition in Gore on Friday 1st September. They had a tough pool and lost to St Hildas and Central Southland College but had a great win against Gore High School 40-0. 

Overall, a great rugby season from all girls and I look forward to next year's season.
