International Trips to the Catlins and Orokonui Ecosantuary
During senior exam week in Term 3 some of the international students went on excursions to the Catlins and to Orokonui Ecosanctuary.
The Catlins were beautiful and the weather held out so that we were able to see Nugget Point, Purakaunui Falls and Purakaunui Bay at their best.
Orokonui was lovely and the students were taken on a 90 minute educational tour which was fascinating.
Sadly the weather was appalling in the afternoon so the planned visit to Aromoana beach had to be cancelled.
