Otago Athletics Relay Champions
Congratulations to our senior boys relay team who won the prestigious 4x400 relay race at the Otago Champs at the end of October.
Nick James-Pirie, George Fisher, Ethan Lambeth and Nico Alverez Rey-Virag impressively won their relay race at the Otago Secondary School Athletics Championship.
Nico and Nick have been involved with Logan Park Athletics for five years. During this time they both have had success at Otago Champs progressing through to South Island Championships. Nico holds multiple championship events over five years in the following events 400m,800m and 1500m. Nico will compete at the New Zealand Secondary School Athletics Championships in December. We wish him well.
