We have a fantastic new addition at LPHS!
A large grow house has been built at the Science block. It's sunny and warm. A group of botany enthusiasts from Agriculture and Horticulture have been experimenting with germination, seedlings and cuttings.
We have made good cutting mix, using wood shavings from the hard materials workshop mixed with soil. Geranium, rose and rosemary cuttings, as well as succulents and dahlia tubers are loving it. As spring blossoms have burst open around the school so too are very healthy potatoes, silverbeet, bok choi (pictured), strawberries and beans. Everything is growing vigorously!
