The Journey
Year 13 Physical Education students enjoyed their 3 day Journey around Dunedin in February.
The group started off by staying overnight at school in the whare before biking out to Bethunes Gully and then hiking up Mount Cargill and walking to Pioneer Hall in Port Chalmers. They spent the night in Port Chalmers and were planning to wakama across the harbour but unfortunately the weather was too unsettled.
A change of plans saw them using the ferry instead before cycling to Harwood.
Students planned the trip and although some aspects of the tramp were brutal, overall the experience was "awesome."
