One Friday night fifty people crammed themselves into four vans and headed for Queenstown.

The musical Rent was an exciting experience for all involved.

On Wednesday 3rd May a group of Logan Park High School students sat the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking Competition.

The Logan Park High School Formal kicked off on the 4th of August with blasting tunes by one of our talented school bands (Giuliana, Jimmy, Charlie and Tomas) creating the vibe for a fun fuelled night at the Otago Museum.

Karaoke Week is always a highlight of the Logan Park calendar and this year’s contest, held in Week Two of Term Three, was no exception.

Taking place over 4 days, a Medieval Scavenger Hunt saw participants scouring entries in an explorer’s notebook. Next they were time travelling through the Viking Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Holy Roman Empire and the Ming Dynasty.

On Tuesday the 8th and Tuesday the 15th of August respectively, the Logan Park Senior and Junior Classics Quiz teams were victorious in the annual Classical Association of Otago Inter-Schools' Classics Quiz of 2023.

2023 has seen the choir continue to grow our voices, repertoire and relationships with each other.

Our open day on July 23 was a blast! Many potential students had a fantastic time exploring and experiencing all the fun activities we had to offer.

We were very lucky this year to have had Lili Guillot from Montpellier staying with us and being a wonderful homestay sister to Bram Casey in la terminale.

To mark the end of the first semester Year Nine Art course students had a half day at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.

On the 27th May a group of Logan Park students took part in the New Zealand Physics and Mathematics Competition. NZPMC is a nationally standardised Physics and Mathematics competition open to all secondary students across Aotearoa. The questions are designed to guide and challenge young Kiwi Scientists to extend their interests in Physics and Mathematics.

Our trip to the West Coast began with a 1 hour drive to Lawrence, and then continuing up along to Alexandra where we stopped for lunch.

Our German class we were busy in Term Three decorating tote bags with German expressions to then exchange with a class from Tahuna Intermediate who have been preparing bags for us.

Students and staff had a great time competing in the Interhouse O'Mathalon at the beginning of August.
