Love Waltz with Fireworks
Love Waltz With Fireworks – this is the title of an exhibition of chairs that have been painted in response to poems.
Thirty Dunedin artists took part, including Ms McKelvey and two LPHS students – Libby Guthrie and Rosa Miles-Seeley. The chairs were on display at Resenes until an auction in October. Proceeds went to Ruth Arnison, a Dunedin poet, to help fund her nation-wide project of ‘Poems in the Waiting Room’.
