Outdoor Music Concert and Market Stalls by Francine Vella

Youth Week

We finished Term 3 with an awesome Youth Week.

Our Interact Club organised a range of lunchtime activities to celebrate young people and their creativity and diversity. The International Food Festival is always a highlight. Hundreds of students and staff were able to sample food from countries including India, Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Thailand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, France, England,  Vietnam, Myanmar, Poland, America, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and of course New Zealand.

The Talent Quest featured singers, rappers and musicians as well as magicians and hula hooping alphabet singers! Abe Baillie won the overall Best Talent with an amazing piano performance.  Leven Wu was second with his magical tricks and Rowan Latton was third with his song.

Our Sports Council organised a multi-sport competition which saw teams compete in hockey, football, futsal, netball and basketball.

And the Outside Music Concert and Market Stalls showcased some of our best musicians and bands. Entrepreneurial students sold baking and savouries, including innovative food creations from the Hospitality students, with the Charities Club continuing to raise money for various causes.
