Welcoming our new international students
On January 29 2020 we welcomed 10 new international students from Germany, Austria, Japan and Vietnam.
After a busy morning being introduced to Logan Park High School, the students were taken on an orientation tour of Dunedin by Mark Dixon of Awesome Tours in which he pointed out useful places in Dunedin like banks, supermarkets and the urgent doctors. The students also saw some of the well-known tourist sights of Dunedin such as Baldwin Street, Signal Hill, the railway station and St Clair beach as well as having a hot or cold drink at the Otago museum.
On their first school day the students were given a buddy to help them find their way around the school and on the Friday there was a pizza lunch for all international students and buddies.
We hope our new international students enjoy their time here and take some great memories back home.
