Welcome new international students.
LPHS welcomes 24 new international students, including a group of seven Thai students who are here on a month-long visit to experience a New Zealand high school.
The other new students are from Brazil, Germany, Switzerland and Japan. The students have already experienced a barbecue at the school, a tour of Dunedin, a trip to see the penguins on Otago Peninsula and a scenic walk up Signal Hill. They are currently preparing for our Race Unity Assembly where students from many different countries will share a little of their culture with the school.
