Book Tasting and Book Dating
At the end of Term One the Year 9's have all embarked on our 'Book Tasting Experience'. They had the opportunity to 'sample' a number of books in a restaurant-style setting.
It was great to see the students engage with the books and enter into the spirit of book tasting. Many books were issued as a result of this event so hopefully there was some focused reading happening during the holidays.
The brilliant library prefects also encouraged the issuing of books for the holiday by creating a 'Blind Date with a Book' display. This gives students an opportunity to issue a book without seeing the cover. We love seeing our students take on a reading challenge!
