Logan Park/Taieri Combined Girls Rugby
Logan Park had 10 girls playing rugby in a combined side with Taieri this year.
The girls are still learning the game but under the tutelage of Tip Winiata they steered themselves to two wins.
All the girls were fantastic and the Taieri girls bonded well with our girls. It was great to see them beating Queens in a tight match and from a Logan Park perspective three tries for Rythm Moana, two for Aglima Poki-Poki, two for Jazzy Bowen and a first ever try for Ngapera Andrews, just highlighted how much the Logan Park girls brought to this team.
Term Three saw the start of the Wednesday evening Girls Sevens Competition.
