International Milford Sound Trip

Milford Sound was named as the eighth Wonder of the World by Rudyard Kipling. And now I have lots of reasons to agree with him. Recently our group of international students went on a trip to Milford Sound.

I’ll never forget this amazing place. Even though Milford Sound proved that it’s the wettest inhabited place in New Zealand and one of the wettest in the world, our cruise was really exciting. After we had our lunch, we went outside to take some photos and even with the rain, it was a cool idea.

Wet but happy, we had fun outside and enjoyed the nature. All the waterfalls were so fascinating and we were even able to stand under one of them. All the rocks and nature were great.

Even on the way to Milford Sound, nature greeted us with awesome views. Then we went to the underwater observatory. There were photos and displays with lots of interesting information about everything we saw on the way. From the observatory, we could see all the dwellers of Milford Sound in their natural habitat. The fast boat ride back was a great end to our cruise.

That’s why I’m sure Milford Sound was one of the most fascinating places I’ve ever been in my life.
