Ava wins trip to New Caledonia
Congratulations to multi-linguist Ava Straw (Year 12) who has won the national Alliance Francaise Concours French Speaking competition. Her prize is a trip to New Caledonia.
Ava speaks French, Mandarin, Italian and English. She will visit New Caledonia for several weeks in December and is "super excited" about the opportunity to immerse herself in French language and culture.
Ava visited New Caledonia with her French class last year, and has won the Otago Southland section of the Alliance Francaise for the past two years. We are looking forward to hearing about her experiences when she returns.
