Pink Shirt Day by Michelle Summerfield

Pink Shirt Day

Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū Mauri Ora. Speak up, Stand Together, Stop bullying.

On the 21st of May, Logan Park High School participated in the annual Pink Shirt Day event. This event aims to raise awareness of bullying especially around the LGBT+ community. The school was decorated with positive affirmations on posters and stickers to help raise awareness about mental health. We held an intergroup photo competition where we were overwhelmed by the amazing participation from Aoraki house. Congratulations to our joint winners 3/2 and 3/6. Overall it was a successful event with an amazing pink ribbon tribute from the Showquest lunchtime performance.
