Witi Ihimaera Interview and Movie Screening
Holly Bettis and Odin Jacobs interviewed well known writer Witi Ihimaera in October.
The interview by skype was recorded and shown along with the film Whale Rider as a fundraising event for a Maori translation app.
Our kapa haka group also performed to an appreciative audience.
Frédéric Dichtel and a group of developers have been working with Maori teacher Tip Winiata and his students on a free Māori app for the last 4 years.
